Request a Wiki (faculty/staff only)

Submit a Contact Us form at coursessupport.gmu.edu

To request a wiki, include the following information:

• Required:  your name and email address
• For course wikis: Course name, number, section and semester
• For project/research wikis that spans multiple semesters: provide the name of your research or other project wiki (lowercase letters and numbers only, 4 characters minimum)
• Do you want your new course or project wiki to be a copy of an existing PBworks wiki? If so, provide the course name/number/section and semester of the wiki you would like to clone.

What are PBworks Wikis?

A PBworks wiki or workspace is a wiki, like other wiki tools, but provides a kind of Windows workspace interface by using folders to organize pages and files. The navigator - a window that appears on the right side panel - is used to navigate the folders of content.  But it is also possible to just build and use a standard web navigation menu instead of (or in addition to) the Navigator. 

• You can move between all your PBworks wikis using the My PBworks tab above or your most recently used ones under Workspaces tab.
• Turn on Notifications under Settings tab above if you want to receive email notices when any page or pages are updated or Comments added. You can unsubscribe later.

PBworks Project Templates
